Keeping It Sweet and Simple!
Webmaster’s news alert: Wonderful Boston Globe article this morning in the paper, and now the Huffington Post!
After a three-day rest, it felt good to be walking again. From the Hackney’s home, I head to the Crown Plaza Hotel where I connect with walking companions Brennan Barnard (Westtown ’92 and FF) and Peter Baldwin (Westtown ’83). Next stops take us to the Courtyard Marriott in Waltham (where Judy and I stayed with Nathaniel before his time at McLean in January, 2010), Waverley Oaks Athletic Club near McLean, and McLean Hospital.
Tonight my hosts are Judy’s Westtown ’71 classmate Catherine Moon Stalberg, and her family: Ken, Nathaniel, and Gabriel in Belmont, MA. I attend a lecture by Dr. Jennifer Greenberg tonight at McLean on BDD.
Judy and Carrie will join me tomorrow for the last two days of the walk. As I move towards the end of this adventure, Carrie begins a new one in Boston.

A demain dans le parque à Boston. J’attends te revoir et aussi voir un peu de soleil si c’est possible.
A tip of the hat to you, Denis, for outstanding use of *technology* in leveraging your most excellent endeavor. Awesome media coverage! Facebook! Even the most curmudgeonly neo-luddites have to be impressed!
Those of us not in Boston tomorrow will be with you in spirit and rallying from all points afar with you and Judy and Carrie. We are so proud of you and what you have done.
This article is amazing and very well deserved. Glad all of Boston is reading about your walk and the rally on Thursday! The article is also making its way around Facebook, being shared by multiple people today. See you in two days, Asselin family!
